Indus Crafts Foundation is a not-for-profit organization registered with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under section 42 of the companies ordinance, 1984. The core objective of the Foundation is to revitalize the traditional and indigenous handmade crafts of Pakistan, particularly in the Sindh Province and support income generation of the communities engaged in the production of craft.
The mission of Indus Crafts Foundation is to create an enabling environment for the craft producer groups, particularly women, landless & wage earners in rural areas.
ICF main areas of intervention are capacity building of crafts person, livelihood improvement, promotion of crafts /culture & gender development.
The organization started its operation in 2012 having head quarter in Khairpur Mirs, Sindh.
Who We Are
INDUS CRAFTS FOUNDATION [ICF] is established as not for profit company under section42 of companies ordinance 1984. ICF is led by an independent board of directors and being operated by a professionally sound management. The Company would mainly work for the development of craft and craft person’s (Man & Woman) capacity building and market exposure support them in technical assistance according to market requirement by following modern methodology with ancient base.
ICF would be directly involved with the crafts persons and ensure their recognition and participation / representation as share holders on the basis of crafts person’s independent will and resolution. ICF Company would be following the principles of FAIR TRADE and will be responsible to give the fair wages to workers/ artisans on the basis of quality assurance.ICF company would work for the developing a leadership cadre among the skilled/crafts communities (man & woman) on the basis of equality and equity.

Chairman Message
Indus Crafts Foundation (ICF) is established as not for profit company under section 42 of companies ordinance 1984 and is led by an independent board of directors and being operated by a professionally team. Company is transformed from a district govt. Khairpur initiative for the promotion of crafts persons of Khairpur Sindh. ICF is working for the development of craft and craft person’s (Man & Woman) capacity building and market exposure and supporting them in product development according to market requirement.
Along with other experienced board members we are providing a strategic direction to the ICF team for achieving the overall objective of the company. ICF craftspersons are being exposed in the market in exhibitions and we are showcasing their handmade products under the brand of ICF.
We are sanguine that in the coming days ICF will be a good role model for replication in other areas of Sindh & Pakistan.
